By the way,

Paul, thanks for a lot of good times. I am going to miss the place...A lot...Good luck to you and Seung-hye in your next venture. See you Saturday.

I think "Mad Brad" returning to Canada might have had something to do with it.

Good. I've never experienced a more miserable time in Korea than the night I went to the Bad Apple. Can you say clique? I sure can, having spent two sour hours surrounded by fatsos with hot Korean girlfriends.

Rotten to the core.

Got no action eh? Don't worry god still loves you, so does John Wayne Gacy. As I keep saying, come out with me in Hongdae and forget those fat losers.

Saturday night rocked the house at the Bad Apple, with the good news that the place might not be closing after all as a posse of Canadians are thinking of taking the place over. Yay!

Although it won't be the same without the world's friendliest barman Paul. Oh well, any bad apple is better than none...

The place was absolutely packed on the last night.. If it were that full every weekend you would make a killing.. I don't know where all the foreigners in Daejeon go normally.. perhaps they go to Seoul every weekend??

I'm not sure exactly what is going on with the Bad Apple, but two guys, both called Richard I believe, are trying to get it together to take the bar over. I think they may be open to shares in the place. They are apparently going to have a meeting with interested parties sometime soon, I put my name on their email list, so when I know more, I'll let you know.

Ah, it's good to know some things never change in Korea--sounds like it was a good bar. Smile
