Great thread and though a high level, nice template Korussian!

I've made a number of templates, go to Resources and Power Point Games to get them, or on the Games page (at the bottom) under the PLAY tab.

Here's the latest template I'm using... http://eflclassroom.ning.com/simpsons/simpsons.swf

Lots more flash based ones like this , as well as powerpoint available...

Thanks for sharing,

DD

I've noticed you making a few stabs at the guy's webpage.

My 2 cents: DD there have been a lot of people that have said your webpage is a total mess and hard to find stuff. If the point of it is to get people to use it, I think you've missed the point.

There are some useful things on his site. But finding what you need is a complete nightmare. I find it easier navigating a Korean site. Sort it out DD

Let's keep this about Jeopardy.

AC - I replied to you on another thread. Please respond there if you have any further questions or take the advice I offered.

Use the directory http://eflclassroom.ning.com/directory.html
or dashboard - http://www.pageflakes.com/eflclassroom
or most importantly, join in and help make things better. It is an open community and all are welcome to particpate/change/help develop....

I like This style of game It is a different twist on the standard ppt Jeopardy board.

Cheers,

DD

That's his whole schtick. He's a troll. AC's even admitted that very thing in another thread.

While everyone's whining, when I bring up the ppt games from your site on some of my school's computers I get an error message and then all the windows on the computer close. This has happened on a few different computers. Have you heard this from others or is it only a few of my school's computers that don't like your site?

YBS,

that's the kicker. If it is only on "some", it is definitely on your end. I've never had anyone say such a thing before.

I do get lots of teachers (probably average one a day) saying/asking for an idea or a resource. I'm always prompt and give lots of help. People will attest to that. With this though, can't help you... Get your school tech guy/gal to step up to the plate. Also, download at home and put it onto your own memory stick. That's the best route, don't rely on the internet for class viewing/doing....

Sorry can't help more,

DD

Yeah, sometimes they don't download well and require time to figure out what and how needs correcting: Probably a combination of different powerpoint and operating systems.

I actually didn't know you could do that - I'll try - thanks.

Like when showing a conference workshop a video about poor kids in India using a computer for the first time and teaching each other how to use it, right? Wink

I tried to save it but got an error message. Is there some other way you're supposed to save it than Ctrl + S?
