Ive never actually knew that you could do that, type in an address and have it open a new tab. I am impatient, and I value speed more than anything else, so Chromes for me.
Has anyone noticed Chrome not working for certain sites? Firefox wouldnt work with many online banking, shopping sites, as well as some webcam telephony (kinda like Skype, although I dont use Skype enough to know if it does or does not work on Firefox).
Also, does anyone have a minimal configuration for Windows XP or Vista that they know where to pirate (torrent) or to buy? I need it to use with a Skype type interaction that seems not to work well in some slow internet speed countries. |

| How does it handle those pesky Korean sites that seem to work only with Internet Explorer? Is Chrome a viable alternative or are we still slaves to the Vole? |

I'm trying it out now and might be replacing firefox with it. Accessing my bank website was a chore - seems it was FF and not my computer.
One thing about Chrome I've noticed - Overall it's fast, but if I'm taking up a lot of bandwith (say, torrents) and I try to open up a website, it will give me some bogus claims of "web address not found" prompting a reload or two.
Also, I'm getting some weird results when I use the back button.
Guess it goes to show there's no such thing as the perfect browser. |

I've had it for a couple months, and - until about a week ago - I had all kinds of trouble trying to type and edit posts on this site.
It's still tricky trying to colorize text - it adds some extra code that I have to delete.
As far as speeding up this site during the real slow times - in your dreams!
However, I like it better than IE and Firefox, overall, and I anticipate the glitches to get fixed pretty soon. |

| I mostly like it, but you can't do everything with it you can with explorer at least not so far as I can tell. It simply may be I haven't found where to make the changes I want. |

My only gripe is that the TAB sort of sticks to the mouse. If I go up and click on a different tab, even after I let go of the mouse button, the tab is dragged along with my pointer to a new window.
I'm glad they fixed the text issue. Typing/erasing text in the first Google Chrome was a nightmare. |

Chrome has been ok for me. However, it does have a tendency to stick on me every now and again. A tab will just lock up, can't close it, cant open any links nothing.
Other than that, it's not too shabby.
I prefer opera though, oddly enough. |

Yes, I am giving it a trial run. Firefox keeps messing up my bookmarks. For the most part, I really like it. It is pretty fast. There are a couple of quirks though. They are annoying ones too.
Of course, it can't handle a lot of Korean stuff. That is fine because I don't need it for that. I can use IE for that. It isn't that often that I need to check out Korean sites.
The biggest problem I have is with Lonely Planet's site Thorntree. The display is completely screwed up. Is it the same for you?

I post there a lot, so this is a pain. |

| I liked it, but it wouldn't work with Korean sites that I use (Korail, my bank etc). |
