| I'm a U.S. citizen currently traveling in Thailand and I want to teach in Korea. Is it still possible to obtain an E2 Visa without returning to my country of origin? I've been told that new regulations require that I interview with the embassy in the U.S. AND have the application mailed from there as well. Is there a way around this? |

| I remember reading a post about someone who was working in Thailand and came straight to Korea. He hadn't worked here before, and didn't have to go back to his home country. I can't remember his handle, maybe it was losingtouch, but I am not sure. losingtouch, if I misquoted you, I am sorry. |
