I know there's a way but I wasn't sure how to reserve seats on long distance buses. I went to the site at http://www.kobus.co.kr/web/eng/index.jsp where I could see the schedule and how many empty seats, but I couldn't see how to actually reserve seats. Anyone know? |

Go to the site:
www.theyeogiyo.com
They can help you out (for a 1000 won or something like that) |

Can you go to the bus station ahead of time to buy the ticket?
I've never had a problem with oversold bus just going when I want to leave. Actually, in Sokcho, they wouldn't even let you buy tickets more than a few hours in advance. |

I have bought tickets days in advance.
I have had to wait up to 2 hours to get out of Seoul on a Friday night.
I have made online reservations with my ARC and credit card, but I had to get a fluent Korean speaker to help with the process. |

When I was in Gwanju, I think, I was told I could not purchase tickets at night for the next morning. They told me to come in early. It may be different depending on the kind of bus and the destination. |
