I wouldn't leave the country. I'd spend one night with friends, one night with my girl, one with on the phone with my oversea loved ones, and I'd drive my motorcycle off a cliff for a last hurrah while a spread my arms like an eagle.

Wait? Are you talking about death or traveling?

If you are talking about traveling, I wouldn't waste my money overseas, I'd stay in Korea and rent a car to the East Sea and follow a map around the coast.

Yeap. Stay in Korea. Head to Sokcho on a bus and go south to KyoungJu on Route 7. That's a good trip. Going overseas on only three days would be silly, unless you're going to Japan via ferry. Even then you'd be limited in your travels, in both time and space.

I might go to Japan, because it's so expensive there I wouldn't want to be tempted to stay there longer than 3 days Smile

I also like the idea of renting a car and driving around Korea though...

Only 3 nights? Not worth spending money on for a flight or ferry unless you have money to burn.

I couldn't believe my brother in law spending $1100 per person for a 4 night trip to Jamaica which includes flights and hotel suite for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. That's $4,400 for only 4 nights. Shocked That much money is a 2 to 3 month RTW trip for me. But I'm talking about someone who makes $10,000 a month and has money to burn so it's no big deal.

Just depends on what you think 3 or 4 nights is really worth spending $$$ on doing. For me, I'm making a 15 night Summer vacation a staycation to save money as flights are rediculously expensive in the high Summer season. No sense in going when you're going to either pay too much for a room or even get turned away after having paid too much for a flight.

I am fine with just staying in Korea.. but like one of the other posters said,, Japan is so expensive that it is only worth going for a few days anyway.
