Are we over-40ers screwed?
I enjoy teaching in Korea and I'll be 41 if I resign next March.
It will be my 3rd PS contract in the 7 years I've been here. I have stellar references and TESL certification.
Is this only for EPIK or the metro DOE's as well?
Does this apply to Seoul as well.
I guess I'll will be finally off to grad school if this is the case. |

You may not be too old for EPIK schools per their guidelines but schools are asking for specific ages and sexes out where I live...and it is the young folks they want...you ARE too old to teach at a place like GELC if you are over 36, which was the reason given to me for my application being rejected at age 37...they strongly wanted me at age 36 but now I am told that I am too old. |
