I think it was RACETRAITOR who used to put quotes from storm-front side-by-side with quotes by Dave's.
Hard to tell which was which sometimes. |

You read too much into it. I meant one of my friends who is a sociologist, not that I have a multitude of them to choose from. I wish I did, but sadly, no.
I read them because it's like a trainwreck that you can't take your eyes off of and because it's fascinating to try to understand why some people feel the way they do about racism. |

OP! Watch your linguistic sexism. 
I've always found the topic of white supremacy fascinating/eye opening. One of my favorite reads is Peggy McIntosh's articled called "The Invisible Knapsack."

Some interesting facts:
* black families are generally poorer than whites and Asians because black families are more likely to not have a father present. Asians are the most likely to have a father present and this is a major reason for Asian families being the richest. When comparing individuals (and not families), there's a lesser disparity
* the median age for blacks is lower than for nonblacks. People generally earn more as they age. Comparing blacks and whites of the same age group would be more useful than gross statistics. Asians and whites have a higher median age and this is a major reason why blacks are the poorest.
* Louisiana has a higher murder rate than most third world countries
* The Muslim world (1,500 million people) has a lower GDP than Japan
Groups' values are the answer. Race is not only irrelevant but nonexistent |

And these are just 2 of the huge number of disadvantages black people are born into. Sad really. Ethnicity/race TRULY is nonexistent. Just think about it this way: let's say you're white--you could be genetically more similar to person X (black) than person Y (white). It all comes down to socioeconomic differences. |
