Hi guys.
My visa expires on Oct 10th (Saturday). I know it varies case by case, but, if you have relevant experience, please state what happened to you (so I can try to predict what those final days in Korea will be like)
(a) Will they make me work until (and including) Friday 9th (thereby departing on the 10th) or do they let you go a little earlier?
(b) Will they purchase my air ticket and give it to me, or will I purchase it myself and be refunded? |

October 10th is the middle of the school year, so I'm guessing that they will indeed make you work until the last day. Not sure why you started at such a strange time but there you have it.
Airfare depends on what city you're in and how your POE does it, but I'm pretty sure that you won't have to pay for the ticket. Get in touch with your coordinator. If you live in Daegu I can give you his name and email. Most likely you are going to find the flight you want, reserve the ticket (not pay) and then send the reservation number and itinerary to your coordinator. But they will probably want you to use a certain airline so don't do this before consulting first. |
