Im moving to teach in a new country and I need to get a CBC done for every city Ive lived in for more than 6 months..I suppose I could just walk into the local police station here and ask them to run a search (in my garbled Korean) Does anyone have experience getting a background check done in Korea? |

I got fingerprints for free (and easy - they even had the forms) from the Yongsan base. It's not the main gate but the place you get IDs.
Then I sent them to the FBI, had the background check mailed to my mother in the US, and she forwarded them to me in Korea.
Easy. |

I think you misunderstood. Im talking about a background check with the KOREAN police for my KOREAN criminal record. I need to get a letter of no criminal activity for my stay in Korea. |
