Asking for advice from people who may have been in the same situation.

Just a bit of back ground. I am not looking for a hakwon or public school job so please don't say that there are a dime a dozen jobs to choose from.

I have 7 weeks left on my current contract. Have been going to interviews for new positions. Have been offered one and they have asked me to sign a contract ASAP (have agreed on a date to go in to do so).

But this is not the job I really want. I have other interviews lined up of positions that I would prefer.

I am concerned however that if I decide to turn down the job I have already accepted (the one I don't really want) and relying on getting a job that I prefer and it falls through that will leave me in a bind.

Now the advice sought. Can I sign the contract (job I don't really want) and let them go through the process of paperwork etc and then get offered a position that I want can I turn down the job that I signed with if the paper work hasn't been sent off?

Any advice or own tales would be appreciated.
