So I'm in the last step and I need to apply for my E2 visa. The problem is that I haven't recieved my diploma yet. Does anyone know if you could use an appostilled graduation certification letter instead for the visa application? |

Could possibly, by some small percentage, be wrong on this one (due to the ever-changing nature of requirements for visas in this country) but I think you're SOL. Had to wait around on my degree before I could go, as well. |

Don't believe it. What might work for one person, might NOT work for another. |

I already sent my letter of completion to SMOE along with my other documents. Do I have to get another letter, get it notarized, checked by clerk, and apostilled again for my visa? |

Yes for the visa application you do. Although I'm a bit confused since the Epik and Talk programs have their own "documents list" listed on the Korean embassy website but SMOE doesn't. When I called the embassy the lady there didn't speak very good English and she didn't seem to want to answer my question and also started yelling at me. Anyways no answer there. I just want to get this nightmare over with!! |

The letters of completion are valid, I had to use one last year, as my diploma was lost previously. Then I was able to get notarized copies of my diploma after i got the replacement. |
