In honor of the late Z man, who refused to sell out his e-identity to the TOS of Dave's here's my WAP standing.

This is not intended to be funny but a serious scientific discussion of my WAP standing at my school.

For those of you unfamiliar with the acronym WAP stands for (Waygook achievement points)

This is all true and not fabricated in the least. My initial goal with the WAP was for us waygooks to have a way of measuring our "standing" in our school, whether good or bad.

The late Z merely saw WAPs as something fun to play around with.

I take the idea much more seriously.

So now, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the new world of being able to concretely and scientifically measure your standing in your school.

Invited to teacher's father's funeral, did not go -100Invited to multiple group outings, did not attend -50

always bowed to the principle and said good morning and good night every day +50bought the P and VP gifts +50

made same student cry three times (insulted his English and accused him of farting) -50
told a student she was ok cause I didn't see any blood -50

came to school smelling like soju -----I honestly don't know the score for this one, sorry, I'm working on it!went swimming wearing super tight speedos +100 Korean female teachers -50 male teachers = net +50

called in sick 2x -50

talked incessantly about how great Korea is +100
total = -50 and I still got re-signed

I can't over emphasize the importance of this. Your future employability is dependent on your WAP score.

Please, fellow teachers, do your best to raise your WAP or your future here could be in question.

Really?

Meh. Just imagine him coming onto every other thread and typing,
"우리나라!" and it will be like he never left.

I don't know. He made some crazy comments, and sometimes bordered on offensive...but they ban him? They should ban dudes like this asmith (I think that's the name) who starts 30 troll threads every day. At the same time...the TOS exists, and this isn't a democracy...so we live with that.

RIP Z man...a guy who's heart was better than his humour *sniff*

I'm new to the forums, and I liked that z-dude.

He sort of had a character of his own, which is hard on an anonymous internet forum.

Wait why did both of them get banned?
They were both pretty cool guys.

Yu bum suk was a boring know-it-all who kept taunting the mods with his mod-edit crap. He then insulted Demetrius Stylinious in a post.

Z told a tasteless joke in Korean about mixed-blood children. enrico seemed to give him a break.

Then Z went on to make fun of enrico asking if it were all right to tell knock-knock jokes.

How hard is it? There's a lot of freedom on this board. But if you make fun of the boss, eventually you are going to get the axe.

Just follow the TOS.

So Yu Bum Suk is banned? Wow, he's been around for ever. Wonder if he'll reincarnate or if he's had enough of the place. Wont be the same without him.

What kinda gets me is you can go around here calling other poster cretins, insulting peoples intelligence and whatever without much repercussion. Tell a dirty joke or pick on a mod and its game over. Kind of strange what is tolerated

I definitely will miss the Z man.

I was just thinking I hadn't heard anything mundane in awhile from YBS and yes he was boring as hell. The only time I read his posts were when there was absolutely nothing else to read.

That being said I thought he was one of the most benign posters on Daves.

I better tread carefully cause I'll probably be next.

Do they give you a warning or something or just blam, you're gone?
