There are certainly aspects of the single life that I enjoy. However, in the long run I'd like to find a nice girl for a long term relationship, and perhaps marriage one day. I'm in no rush to get married though, think I'll leave that till my 30s at least!

Being married is way better. It all depends of course on whether you have a compatible partner to share your life with. When I was young and single I believe I prefered the single life because back then I was able to date lots and sex and girlfriends were pretty easy to come by. When I got to my 30's however the number of eligible females had been whittled down to a fraction of what they had previously been and large numbers of them were no longer really attractive. So I call now that marriage is much better. Going looking for love in your 30's is a pain in the arse and often not worth the effort. Now that I am married I can focus my time and resources on other things. Two incomes are nice also.

What's worse, velcro gloves or a pet with teeth?

PS: [correction ^ ] Being married is better because there is always someone (forgiving - if you married right) to cook breakfast for you.

I'm happy with just being the boyfriend of married women. I'd hate to be their husbands. Very Happy
