I'll be heading up to daegu this weekend for the first time. I'm curious if anyone can give some tips on where i should stay or what i should see for my first time up there.
mainly im curious about where i should get a hotel, i don't need a love motel, but something for a good price. |

Love hotels are probably the best deal.
Daegu isn't very touristy...
I guess check out Gatbawi on Palgongsan
Spa Valley
Woobang Towerland + Tower - the lame but fun amusement park with accompanying tower
Duryu Park - if you want to see a large park
Apsan - you can get a good view of Daegu from here
Herbal Medicine Market - near the downtown, sort of cool for a stroll
Daegu Museum - (very small and not much to see to be honest)
Downtown
Dr. Fish - get fish to eat the dead skin off the soles of your feet - can be found at Namu (tree) cafe
There's some decent Mexican (The Holy Grill) and awesome burgers (Gorilla Burger)
Nightlife - I don't go out much, but everything's within walking distance. Find some foreigners on a Friday or Saturday night and ask the. |

They are. Try the "poutine'. Undercooked french fries, gravy and cheddar cheese for 10,000won.
Can't even get the ingredients right. |
