Today I have gotten literally 30 prank phone calls. The caller ID is hidden, so I can't block the number. I normally wouldn't answer my phone if I saw the hidden caller ID, except my Skype account is forwarded to my cell phone, and that's the way the calls show up. I have family calling from all different time zones, too, so it's not like if I get a call at a weird time I know it's just a prank call.

I think it may be some kids (boys), but if they were from my school I have no idea how they would get my number. Anyway, any advice on how to handle this?

My idiot PS gave my # to all the kids when I arrived last year. I had to shut it off immediately and get a new one. That's my only advice.

Yes. They called 5 times since I posted this. Once I picked up and didn't say anything and just listened to see if I knew who it was. The person just said "yeobeosayyo" 5 million times and whispered something to a friend, then said "Do you like ramyun?" and hung up. Little SOB's!!!

Anyway, since I am pretty sure now that it's a student, what should I do? School is over, so it's not like the Principal is going to round anyone up and yell at them.

Also, since I am just working the summer camp then leaving the country not too long after that, I figure it might be good to beat them at their own game. Plus, what are they going to do: tell their mom that their teacher was mean to them while they were pranking me?

Don't delete the call history and you can bring the phone to your service provider. They will put a block on the number that is calling you.

I had that happen once. I set up skype to mass txt them, first i sent 200 "please stop calling me" txts then I sent one more saying "next time 500"

I got a sorry back and it never happened again. Cost me a couple of dollars but it worked

But in your case if the number is hidden talk to your co-teach and see if they will answer the phone for you and rip the hell out of them in korean

However, I must admit when the caller said the "Do you like ramyun?" line...I did almost laugh out loud!

But I can't!

The number is "hidden caller ID"..so either they are blocking it before they call me (we can do this in the US by hitting *67 before we make a call...can they do that here?) or it's blocked/hidden for some reason anyway.
