Wow, dubstep, that'd be surprising to see around.

There should definitely be some drum and bass though... happy hunting!

nosaj thing just did a tour of korea.... you should have checked that out.

he's not dubstep at all but he's one of the people working out of LA who draw heavily from dubstep - i'm thinking of people like flying lotus and dj rupture.

so a blog crawl related to that tour would where I'd start looking for info.

Total Science are playing at The Hive in Itaewon July 31.

Drum and Bass gigs are a fairly regular occurrence. Dubstep = not so much.

Years back a few DJ's from the UK set up a Renegade Hardware sponsored residency in Hongdae. It was fun, but seemed to die out pretty quickly.

Goldie, Roni Size, Dynamite MC have all been here in the past year, and the WDF hosted several more. Look up local artists named Jung "J-Path" Park, and "The One Russtafari" on facebook. They seem to be kind of the heart and soul of the DnB scene in Korea. The best events are usually held at Mansion in Hongdae, so it would probably be good to tap that facebook page as well.
