Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if there are any tailors that cater to the US airbase in Kunsan. I know Itaewan and Osan are covered in tailors, but I'm not sure about Kunsan.

I need to get measurements for a wedding this summer because I am the best man. But I figure I need a suit for living in Korea anyway.

I live in Iksan now, and I just can't be arsed to go all the way up to Itaewon just to get a suit.

Plus, I am moving in 3 weeks and am too busy to go up to Seoul.

If anyone could help me with some info, I'd really appreciate it.

This won't help you, but....
Kunsan airbase is located about 7 miles from the city of Kunsan. Directly outside the main gate of Kunsan airbase is NOTHING? A few car repair shops, a few mom and pop stores but mostly family houses and apartments. It's not like Youngsan or Osan where directly outside the gate are shops galore! In the town of Kunsan are many tailors, shopping district area, etc. Shopping tours from Kunsan base to Youngsan and Osan are weekly things/trips sponsored by the base and local bus companies so many people do their tailoring and shopping when they get to the bigger areas. You're kinda out of luck.

Sook..if you need a tailor, I can introduce you to mine.

I also live in Iksan and purchased a few suits here...they're not cheap..but they are nice.

How much are we looking at? I may be interested.
Actually the suit is a second thought. I need to send my measurements to canada, so i figured I'd buy a suit as well.

Sorry...was away. I don't know how much it will cost you because you need to choose the style of fit and fabric.

Unless your unusually large, you can have a suit made here for yourself.
