So, I'm planning on going to Japan and I have two questions:
(GEPIK program)
1. A Korean teacher told me that all teachers have to ask the principle for permission before leaving the country. Does that apply to foreign teachers?
2. Is it true that after visiting another country, I can't return to school for seven days to make sure I don't have swine flu (sorry, H1N1)
If the second one is true, my school is not going to be happy when they find out the 7 days extends past my vacation and I can't change my flight plans. |

I had my co T translate the letter from the GEPIK office about H1N1..and they only "SUGGEST" 7 days isolation after an overseas visit..it is not a requirement.
Asking permission to leave the country is not in your contract.. you have vacation and you can do whatever you want. |

Darn, a requirement would buy me an extra 3 days of vacation (I return four days before my vacation ends). So did they send that letter to you or did you CT find it somewhere? |

They can ask for what ever! What ever you do is another thing. |
