Read this if you plan on learning Korean when you come to Korea, especially if you're American:

Chambertinも間違ってるんじゃないだろう? 「も一回」より、「もう一回」って言うのほうが正しいと思います。

僕もなんとなく文法的に間違ってるかもしれませんが・・・ Cool

Edit: Sorry, I don't really mean to be the "grammar police" (My J-go isn't go enough for it). I'm just messing around.

大丈夫だよ。間違いは間違いだろう。けれど今日は一日中泣きそうだ。^_~
Just shows that I'm just as pathetic at spelling / typing in all languages. I really need an asian spellcheck pack for my computer.

I have to disagree. It was not only funny, but true. The writer had me pegged all the way, including the prominent display of my rarely used book on the shelf.

Self-loathing diatribe.

A load of nonsense to paint a race with a broad stroke of lacking an intellectual capacity.

I highly recommend that the blogger read up on Gardner's multiple intelligences to better understand why some people perform better than others in second/foreign languages.

What a poor article. . .white people this, white people that. . .as if there were some necessary relationship between genes and the acquisition of a foreign syntax.

I'm a white boy, and learned language for reasons other than guilt, all rooted in necessity or a desire to connect with my peers.

The adjective "white" was far over-used in the article. I couldn't take it seriously for the lack of categorical sophistication--as if the category "white people" has any real or clear meaning, except for poorly placed resentments, the mocking of some alien other, which has more subjective than objective significance.

It is kind of a 3rd graders color by number picture. Someone else gives the student a picture, and then the "artist" supplies the uninspired content or color.

Okay, thanks for letting me bitch away my crappy mood this morning. I needed that.

For the white American, I would have to agree. White Americans, for the most part, don't want to or are incapable of speaking a different language. They can barely tolerate Spanish.
