What is the website for the Samsung trading company?
For Americans: What is the best online company?...please tell me from experience......from which I could buy a Korean stock.... |
Sorry, not sure about that. I use E-trade, which does have a Korean site; www.etrade.co.kr. I don't trade Korean stocks and I'm not sure how that works but you can buy Korean stocks via that site. |

You can't "fool around". I spend three hours a day studying the stock market.
Don't fool around and you can make money. it's not magic. |

I bought $2000 worth of Nortel when it was 50cents.
If I had liquid cash right now, I'd buy more of it even though its closing in on 10 dollars. |

Anyone tried D.R.I.P.S.?
All your dividends get rolled back into purchasing new shares automatically. Kind of a compounding effect.
Also, you can buy shares directly through the transfer agent - commission free!
A great way to invest IMO. Here's a list of DRIPS offered through CIBC Mellon Trust

So, does anyone have an English speaking stock broker in Korea??
I know which stock I want to buy, so don't worry about that. I just need someone to help me do it. |

Samsung securities has an English trading website
all in real-time and MUCH better than e-trade...the US trading companies charge a fortune for their trades..it's hardly worth it.
http://english.samsungfn.com
you need quite a few documents..but once your in..the system costs so little to trade you can make quite a nice percentage
(.14% as opposed to 1% + rate commisions stateside)

| I now buy Korean stocks online. I think it is a good time to buy, as the market has fallen a lot recently. When the Korean president is reinstated Friday, more stability may incur in the market. |
