So I want to know how and where I can buy cases of beer, where do they hide the beer distributors? Do I need a permit to buy a case of beer?
One Beer I like, "Saigon" is only sold at the fake Vietnam Pho Resturants. We asked where they buy it from, they said they don't know.
I checked...they don't sell cases at home plus unless you want to pay like 3-4ooo a bottle.
I just want to skip all the middlemen |

Hell, let me know when you find out. There doesn't seem to be much of a discount for buying beer in bulk that I've seen. A six pack is often the same price as buying six individual bottles. |

An odd thing I've noticed is that there is zero incentive to buy more or bigger amounts. I bought a 5L keg of Paulaner Hefe at Homever. It was like bringing home a new baby. I then looked at the price of the Dunkell Paulaner I also bought. Almost the exact same price Ml to Ml. I am SURE they get a discount from Paulaner or the distributor. I am sure it costs less to ship and stock. Other than reducing the use of natural resources, the consumer gains nothing by buying in bulk here. |

Emart is currently selling 12 (24?) packs for Korean beer... Their in weird looking "cooler-ish" carrying cases...
Costco has lots and lots of cases, but like others have said its not discounted for buying in bulk... |

ok somebody has to know where they hid the beer distributors. I am sure all these bars don't go to emart or costco to buy there beer. Is it an industry secret? |

I know I'm newer to this place but, so far, I'm very confused.
There is a thread about the general mom and pop stores but lets be more specific in this thread.
Where are all the just liquor stores?
I'm use to the little to zero discount of buying in bulk from the bulk retailers (lol) but why dosent Korea have all the mini stores where you can find specialty products and get nice fat bulk discounts?
Seriously am I blind or is it just not there.
I dont expect any western stuff just a good selection of local products, heck, any local products. |
