Hi Everyone,

I'm heading to South Korea in September. To save room in my luggage so I can pack other things, I was planning on just leaving behind my hair dryer and hair straighten and just buying one once I get to South Korea. Just wondering if anyone can give me some info on the cost of buying a high end ceramic hair straightener. My hair is pretty frizzy and course so I typically need something that is strong. Also, how much is it to get a hair dryer.

Thanks in advance for all of you that respond back to my question Smile[/img]

You can pick a Philips hair dryer up for as little as 20K... or a Chinese one for 10K. Irons range from 15/20K to 100+K.. depends on what you're looking for. They don't have to be expensive.

They also don't seem to have GHD hair straighteners around either, if you like using them.

You can go to any hair salon and get a "magic straight" hair perm for around 40,000-100,000 won depending on the length of your hair and how pricey the salon is. Then your hair will always be straight and you won't need a ceramic straightener, no matter how frizzy and coarse your hair is.

You could also always post something in the buy/sell/trade forum and get good used stuff cheap. People are always moving in or out, or finding they didn't need to cart something halfway around the world after all.

Just a few suggestions.
