Hi,
If you're British and have gotten your E-2 recently, could you let me know what you had to take/send off to them?
Cheers. |

I sent off;
1) Cover letter
2) Copy of Contract/EPIK Notice of Appointment
3) 2 copies of E2 Visa application form/2 copies of health questionnaire
4) 2 Passport photos (one of which they returned)
5) 1 copy of degree (which they returned, obviously didn't need)
6) 1 set of transcripts (returned, didn't need)
7) Passport
I was a bit concerned I didn't have a copy of my Background Check to include, but was told it wasn't necessary.
I got my passport back with the visa stamp in 1 working week.
Hope this helps. |

UK27!!!! Thanks so much for this reply. When did you get your visa exactly?
I was so worried as I too haven't photocopied my background check with apostille - I have no idea why I didn't do this and I'm mad with myself.
Hopefully the goal posts won't change in the next month and a half or so, when I should be getting my visa number!
Thanks again! |

I did this end of June I think, so about a month ago.
I know exactly what you mean, I could have slapped myself for not photocopying my background check! Went into a major stress!
Anyway, hopefully the embassy in London won't change their policy in the next month or so - I don't think they will - but when you get your visa number you could ring them and make sure.
You should be fine |

Did you have to go to London personally? I'm in Scotland so it's not ideal for me to travel all the way down to the big smoke! |

No.
I'm in the North so I just sent it. I included in my original package a pre-paid, special delivery envelope for them to send me my stuff back in. There and back cost about 11 'cos I did special delivery both ways as I was paranoid about my passport. |
