I am leaving early (August 25) so these items are only 3 months old (not that it really matters).

Unused (but unwrapped) yoga mat. Blue in color.

Rice cooker. 45,000 won new.

Computer/mp3 speakers. Britz brand with a sleek style and strong bass. (the good ones, not the crappy ones). 52,000 won new.

2-outlet power transformer. 220-110

Telephone. Brand: Sun Phone. Cheap, but has caller ID, speakerphone, and memory 1-touch buttons. 20,000 won new.

I also have a set of 4 pink/purplish kitchen towels. They are barely used. 12,000 won each when purchased (yeah, I got ripped off)

I am in Gwangmyeong right near the 747 stop (Cheolsan) on the green line 7. Go ahead and make an offer for any or all of these items. Email [email protected] with any questions or offers. I have the boxes and packaging for the phone, rice cooker, speakers.

Sure, I will take some photos and email them to whoever is interested. Thanks for the idea.

P.S. If anyone is interested in a PPS (pay per service) cell phone that can be used at SK I have a SKY "Tomb" white in color. I paid 50,000 won for the used phone.

how hard is it to write an email to the OP? his address is listed on the first post.
subject: stuff
body: pics please.

the best thing is that your own email is already given to him once you click send. you don't even have to type it out. either way, i'm sure the OP appreciates the bumps.

Yea, it's f---ing awesome (in a Napolen Dynamite voice), sweet!!!

Actually, I don't like to give out my email address, because I don't like to get spam. If I see a photo of something I like, then I email to show interest. If I don't know if I want something or not, I don't see much point in giving out an email address.

All you have to do is post one photo here, and many people can see it. That's the point of a forum. It's like an email to everyone.

If any disputes arise later on, then you can refer to the posts here as opposed to arguing "he said, she said" in email, which only 2 people would have seen.

Make you feel better? Why someone would want to spam you from a sales forum is beyond me.

Thanks for posting the photos. I would never have pictured the speaker set looking like that.

As for spamming, it's not so much the person asking for the email address as it is simply giving your email address out in the general sense. The more people have it, the more likely it is be to added to a list and then after a few sends, someone decides to use it to spam.

After that, you're on someone's spamlist. So, I try to avoid it. Also, I am here. I regularly check this forum. I don't feel like opening up email every time I want to pursue the possibility I might want something. I could spend the rest of my life just emailing people asking them for photos of stuff I "might" want to buy. If I see them in photos in the forum or like on craigslist, right there on the page, it's like window shopping.

I could offer 20-25,000 for the speaker set. However, from the photos I am not sure how they sound. Maybe it's a lot better than I am imagining. Is there is just one speaker as shown in the photo, or are there 2 like normal (right and left speaker)?

Where are you located?

Maybe you can clarify your location for us. Line 7 is olive color, Line 2 is green, Cheolsan station is on Line 7 (olive color), and Gwangmyeong station is on Line 1 (blue color) off of Siheung station.

Where exactly are you?

LifeinKorea, are you really just trying to be difficult or what? As far as the speakers go, there is a sub/master control with 2 wired l/r speakers. I only took a photo of one because they are identical. Yes, they are an odd shape, and I like that look over the standard rectangle box shaped speaker.

Where is Cheolsan station exactly? It is stop 747 on the 7 line, like I said. Thanks for the opportunity to bump this again.

I am not trying to be difficult. I honestly don't know what "747" means ( http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=747+korea ).

I asked about the speakers cause 1, I have had people (not saying you are the same) who have done the same kind of stuff. I get there assuming there are 2 if there usually are, or maybe it's a book with a CD, but they lost the CD and never mentioned it.

So, I like to ask in advance before traveling 2 hours into Seoul (sometimes 2.5) and the same back to find out exactly what the person is selling.

Also, I find it strange that you wouldn't put both speakers in the photo. It's not like we are at a loss for screen space. Two speakers can be shown easily, as in the following photo.

http://cache.gizmodo.com/assets/resources/2006/08/hermione-speaker-1_large.jpg

I just did that in like 10 seconds through a Google search. So, it strikes me as odd that you didn't do that initially. Putting a photo up with only one speaker raises a red flag, so I asked. This is not an attack on you, but more of a request for clarification.

I would suggest that anyone trying to sell something just ignore lifeinkorea. Pretty soon he's going to tell you that you should charge less because the exchange rate is a scam.

If you don't like losing 50,000 won on the sale of an item, then why on earth are you in Korea where you are losing close to 450,000 won a month because the government has decided to cap the exchange rate at 80%?

It's not hard folks to shop and buy things cheaply in Korea. You can then resell them cheap also. If you just go to a store, pay any price you see and then demand to get the same amount back, you are simply transferring more money into the merchants' pockets.

Which would you rather do?

A) Treat fellow English teachers better
B) Support the economy and high prices from the companies who inflate their product's value?

Cool Enjoy!!!! http://www.forecasts.org/data/data/EXKOUS.htm
