Fellow posters, I am leaving Korea for good very soon. I've found a better job and I've accepted it today.

I will return to England first to process a visa for the new job.

I'd like to say it has been fun posting on this forum. It's been a rollercoaster ride living and working in Korea.

I've had some good moments though.

I can honestly say once the new job begins, I won't be using the Korea forum again.

To be honest, I often posted on this forum out of complete boredom. I sincerely hope you found it entertaining, some of the time.

Lastly, I am selling some of my items for very low prices here:

It's been interesting following your posts - you were someone who was at first ridiculed and thought stupid .. to someone who is still ridiculed, but now has a 'following'.

All the very best to you,

G

It's true I'm still ridiculed, but you must have noticed how I ridicule everybody else, while pretending to be so dumb I'm not aware of it.

Thank you anyway. Laughing

what will you be doing and where are you off to? Presumably your job is not in the UK if you have to go back to get a visa processed. Good luck anyway

See you in a couple of months! I truly hope you are on to bigger and better things. I hope you don't have an annoying co-teacher. I hope you find greener pastures out there somewhere.

Why must it be so long? You can't find time in your busy schedule for a post or two?

Well UK, I'm sure this has been an experience you will carry with you for the rest of your life. You'll always have Korea. Wink

Wow that's so weird. I got up this morning and I started thinking 'hmm, haven't heard anything from fromtheuk for a while. I wonder if there's a new post from him?' Usually when I log on to the internet, I look at the news first, but today I went straight to Dave's to look for a new fromtheuk post and I saw this! It's like I could sense some big fromtheuk news. I think I must have some sort of psychic connection with you! Shocked
(I'm not being sarcastic either; this really happened.)

I know sometimes I joined in on giving you a hard time but I did find your posts entertaining. I'm really curious to know what country you'll be working in next.

Anyway all the best with your new start.

But, that's the weird thing. I don't think about fromtheuk's posts often. It just so happened that today I did.
