|
|
Hey all,
My girlfriend is looking for an MP3 player these days. She wants 512 MB and decent quality, and not a HD, (like the iPod). Expandability would be cool, but at least 512 internal memory would be preferable.
Anybody know the best value going these days? (She's leaning toward the iRiver, any comments on that model?) Further, where can I track it down?
Thanks,
KN |

Check the online shopping link Jurassic5 posted in the I-pod thread for a baseline price and then head to to Yongsan E mart. |

The iRiver IFP series (flash-based) is really good. Nice clean, powerful amp. The menu system rocks, as does the display (tons track info - even displays bitrate and an oscilloscope).
Even though iRiver is a Korean company, their players are not cheap. The 512MB model will run you about w400k. The 1GB model will run you w600k. |

Yeah, she's keen on the iRiver 512 MB model. We got a quote in Bupyeong of 365 000 won, so I guess that's as good as we'll do anywhere.
She's been hearing that because it's all plastic, it feels fragile. No problems there? |
