I'm looking for some patio furniture for my rooftop. 4 chairs, table and possibly a big umbrella. Nothing special, just the standard plastic ones that are in front of Family Mart, 7-11 etc. No, I'm not going to steal anything.

Can I buy them at a big store like Emart ot HomePlus? Second hand stores? Online? Does Emart deliver? What is the Korean word for "delivery service"?

Also, where can I get some plastic tubs and soil for planting a garden for next Spring?

I saw a very nice set like that at Costco but it was super expensive. Try using google translate to type in things like "patio furniture" and get their Korean gloss. Then check out www.gmarket.co.kr.

The delivery fees are minimal and it will probably be the cheapest place.

Get a Korean person to help you buy it.

Hi, I got 4 chairs, a table and an umbrella at the local hardware store. If you don't see them in front, just go in and ask them to order some for you. They also carry all kinds of plastic tubs. I paid about 90,000 for the whole patio kit.

Hey, can I ask which area of Seoul you are in? In my local area they don't it at those kinds of shops.

I live near Siheung-City. The shops are easy to find. They are always packed with all kinds of things like brooms, rakes, chains, basically anything you can think of. If that does not work, go to your local 7/11 or Ministop and ask them where they bought theirs. You can also ask if they will order one for you.
