I'm looking for podcast participants willing to take part in an interview about whether or not they think Korea is still worth it, given the skyrocketing living costs, stagnant pay, longer hours, and overall conditions.

Teachers find themselves making far less cash, while being required to work harder. New public school contracts are becoming worse -- downright hagwonish, as of late.

Is this the beginning of the death of the ESL industry in Korea?

There's nothing I love more than one of your very exciting podcasts. But let's get the ball rolling here.

After the economic meltdown in the west, what is there to go back home to?

Err... the question was if it's worth coming here, not going back there.

Well, if you don't have a job back home, and it looks like prospects are dim, then why not roll the dice?

because rolling the dice might set you back a couple years on planting roots back home - I had planned to just do the one year thing then try for law school but it looks like I'm gonna be stuck dong ESL for another year or so until I can get back on my feet in the USA.

A lot of us sold cars, cancelled leases, and uprooted everything to go over here in hopes of making a few bucks, but it's becoming increasingly harder to save anything over here without being a hermit in this "Hermit Kingdom"

We are in a major downturn. It's going to get real scary real quick. Just be happy you have a job.

Have you been watching these town hall meetings? Stuff is going to start to get violent.

I've never seen this kind of mood from average Americans. I'm really starting to worry about the possibility of domestic terrorism.

If I were ben bernanke or tim geithner or larry summers, I'd have full-time body guards. There's something brewing. And it's frightening.
