I live by the World Cup stadium in Suwon. The best nightspots in Suwon are Ingye Dong, Yongtong, and the Suwon station area. There is a Facebook group that has meetings in the Sungkyungwhan uni area. |

You'll be in a good area. Not only with the station right there for quick access to Seoul or Suwon Station, but there are some good lakes and trails close by for outdoor activity, and a big EMart close too. EMart is a department store. Not extensive selection like we have in Canada or the US, but you will be able to find the basics of what you need, and there is a grocery floor too. Suwon Sports Centre is a bike ride away also if a person likes indoor skating, swimming, or a gym. |

I'm up the road a little bit from there in Tapdong. I gess the next major dong over. We share the same E-Mart. There is a small foreigner community in the local area here. Though a few have recently departed for greener pastures. |
