Other than creating a truly beautiful Fender look, the Thinline's semi-hollow "F" hole cutout serves a wonderful dual function. Not only is the guitar super light and easy on your shoulder but it resonates unlike any solid body electric, making it easy and enjoyable to practice unplugged. A definite bonus for those who live in crowded apartments and love to play all night!

When I first came to Korea, I left my Thinline at home thinking that I would be able to find an instrument of comparable quality and refinement here in Seoul. I wasn't! It didn't take me long to get my guitar over here I don't know what I would have done for the year with out it. I hate to let go of this high caliber instrument but I simply don't have room for it on my post-Korea travels.

While the sale of new Fender instruments outside the USA is restricted, this is a perfect opportunity for you to pick up a quality product without having to go back State-side! All parts are original and as I said before, the guitar is in absolutely fabulous condition. The two Fender humbucking pickups can both roar and soothe, all depending on how you work the 3-way pickup switch, tone, and volume knobs!

Price includes the original Fender padded gig bag, an extra set of strings and delivery to you, in person!

There are absolutely no major issues with this guitar. The ash body is in perfect condition except for a small ding on the corner of the back siding that is undetectable when played and in no way affects the overall quality of this instrument.

Sweet guitar - I wish I had the space for another guitar, but unfortunately I don't. I've played a lot of telecasters before and this model looks a bit special.

Sorry Cheonmunka, not sure what MIA is but if you would clarify I could certainly let you know!

This particular guitar is made in Mexico as are the majority of the Classic Series. It is not the super high end Factory Special Run (FSR) which is the only modern Thinline made in the States. It certainly is also not of the lower-grade Squire family either.

It's a beautiful guitar. I've always longed after a '72 Thinline. I've had 6 Teles in my time and I think that's the one I would buy next.

Being made in Mexico wouldn't put me off one bit. I've played Mexican Fenders every bit as good as USA ones.

But your price should reflect the reality of the Fender guitar market. USA = most expensive......Japan = next expensive.......Mexican = least expensive......


Again, that market reality is not really based on truth. The Mexican Fenders are still damn good guitars.

Here come a flood of offers I reckon.
Teles do a good growl when driven. They particularly excel outside of country, I reckon.
I would buy it myself if I weren't saddled with a wife who wouldn't let me, and three guitars already.
