|
|
I was expecting someone to come over to teach them Thai cooking but they were too busy so now I've got too much shrimp and chicken to eat by myself. So if anyone likes Thai food and can come to my place in Haebangchon I can make some dishes for you. (Take-away) Please bring your own box/tupperware. 5,000 won a serving. I can serve it with jasmine or Korean rice, whichever you prefer.
Here's what I'm offering:
Green curry
Panang curry
Pad Thai
Tom Kha ga soup
Fresh coriander too!
The chicken is organic/free range |

You should peddle the leftovers to your 6th graders on Monday. |

No beer but there's a Family Mart down the street which I'm sure doesn't have Thai beer but maybe you can find something there to wash it down with.
If you want some food it's still available. Put your order in. |

Wish I could. Sounds tasty. Unfortunately I'm in America at the moment. |

Impossible to make real som tom. And really, the best Thai food is eaten in Thailand, specifically, sitting outside in Chiang Mai underneath a mango tree. Good luck with your dinner though. |

When you return to Korea stop by my house and I'll prove you wrong! I get all of my ingredients from Thailand. I don't bother with the Thai restaurants around here, they can't compete with me ^^ |

One of the best things I've ever eaten was a smoked eggplant salad with lemon grass, lime juice, chilis and boiled eggs. Can you make that? |

Simple is best. But you have to have fresh chilis. The little "rat shit" kind. Where do you get the right kind of chili peppers in Korea? |

Outside of Ansan Station there is a Southeast Asian market selling all kinds of fresh fruits, vegetables, spices and so on that you can't find anywhere else in maybe all of Korea. |

Neat. I'll have to remember that if I'm ever back. Good luck with your food! |
