People eat dogs in various countries of asia, especially in china and some latin, european countries.

Chow down as long as the animal was killed humanely. The torture and beating pre-death is the questionable part as well as the bogus health benefits.

Oh right. I wonder if all dog meat tastes similar, or whether eating different breeds could give a meat eater an array of culinary pleasures.

Just had some in June. If it's grilled, it smacks of overcooked liver/cheap beef cuts.

Always, always knock down a bottle of soju with any variety of the dish, though.

I've always had it in a soup. It's quite delicious in my estimation, at least in that sort of dish.

Exactly...unfortunately any dog you eat in Korea is about 100% certain to have been tortured alive before preparation.
Otherwise I'd have no real objections to it.
