You want to put a gun to your head now?

Wait till Christmas when the economy starts going into a true tailspin.

Better hide the razor blades.

Ow, that's quite normal, nothing to worry about.

But why don't you share with the rest of us what it is that gave you this bad mood? Vent my friend, vent. That's what we're here for.
Well, I am anyway. I'm bored stiff, nothing to do but waste my time on Dave's and shopping channels...

asmith, good post. I'm close to coming to the land of the chaotic calm. Just want to vent about life in general. Is there anyone out there that just wants to say "f" it? Life sucks sometimes, but I know there are many things that make life special. Screaming in a pillow helps somewhat! What do you think?

Here goes..... I have all the docs ready and am ready to come to SK. Problem? Scared, uncertain, worried, want to have a good school. Too many horror storiers on here. I really want to just drop in the landing zone with the job and prove myself. I'm a little different than your average Joe. 40, act 30, want to find friends and have a life. A little worried about this. Am I just speaking nonsense, or am I on point?

Ouch.... Care to share why you have the bitter attitude? Oh, wait you try to follow in the path of the rest of the friendly posters. Oops, you suck. End of 2008? Wow, shocked with your short one sentence comments.

You're suicidal... and you think that you can fix that by moving to the suicide capital of the world? Nothing personal, I just don't think that's a very good idea.

Actually, moving to Korea is a great way to get away from the temptation to commit suicide. There aren't any guns, and if you stay in Seoul proper then with the new addition of sliding doors to the subways it'll make it that much harder to jump in front of a train. You're gonna have to get really creative with ways to off yourself if you move over here.

Seriously though, don't just say you feel like ending it, actually get it out there and say why you feel like ending it. Being nervous about moving to another country can't be the reason why you would want to take your life, there's something else and they need to come out if you truly want to vent.

He's not moving to Japan (or South India, or Las Vegas or Lithuania), he's moving to Korea.

Google "suicide capital of the world" and you will see that a lot more sites come up before South Korea (including those ones I mentioned in brackets)

You'll be ok. Look on the brightside. At least you have a job.

Fishing for sympathy on Dave's is a big no no. Even special cases like 40year old loners who want to blow their brains out.

Don't worry, soju will cure all your ills. As will the pleasant nights of sleep that await you.
