|
|
Hi. I'm leaving Korea soon and it's time to bid farewell to my Mac mini. I bought this computer from another English teacher here in Daegu who was the original owner. He cut me a nice deal, so I'll pass the savings along.
This Mac mini is one of the original models, most likely purchased in early 2005, but it still works like a champ. Some specs:
Processor 1.42 GHz PowerPC G4 (7447A)
RAM 1 GB
Hard drive 80 GB Ultra ATA/100 at 4200 RPM
I know this is a little slow by today's standards, but it's still great for web surfing, music, movies, and light photo editing. The main downfalls are that it can't burn DVDs and it's on OSX 10.3.9.
I have the original install/restore discs and the serial number/proof of purchase. Also included are a mouse, mouse pad, and a keyboard from a G4 (with hangeul). You just need to provide your own monitor.
I'm asking 150,000 Won. Thanks for looking. |

I was the original owner. Great little computer! It was 100% reliable for me. Glad to hear she's still going strong.
I would gladly buy it back to use at work, but I have a MacBook Pro for that now.
At 150k you can't go wrong for everyday computing. I used Photoshop on it all the time--no problem. It can't burn DVDs, but it can read/play them. I used an external burner.
ps: Booting from an external firewire drive makes the unit quite a bit faster. Or you could slap a new 7200rpm drive in it for cheap-ish.
pps: I should add that I had it in storage for well over a year before I sold it , so it hasn't been in continual use since purchase. |

If it is in good working order and if you'll pay the taekbae (shipping) or postal service to Seoul (or bring it if you are in the area), I'll buy at set price.
I had one which died last fall and it was 400,000 KRW to fix it, so I passed. If you accept, contact me at [email protected] |
