According to Naver this season SBS Sports has the rights to show Premier League games.

According to the Premier League MBCespn has the rights.

I watched the Community Shield game on MBC ESPN, but I just checked the schedule for SBS Sports and yes, it seems this channel has wrested away Premiership games from MBC ESPN.

The thing is, if you get MBC ESPN, you should also get SBS Sports. Better yet, SBS Sports will show the games in HD, something which MBC ESPN didn't do.

Hey folks what you'll need to do is download a program called SopCast. I think you can figure out how to find it. After it's downloaded you'll need to locate a site that will show the listings and the channel. If I engaged in such practices I might try something along the lines of myP2P "dot" eu. From there I've been told that you merely click on the link of the game in question and the SopCast program automatically loads it up for your viewing pleasure. This is, of course, only hearsay as I do not actually engage in the sharing of satellite feeds in Korea or any other country.

That's crap about your sat/cable TV provider sacking off the Prem league games.
Sopcast is okay, but occasionally the game you want to see may not be available on that program, or the stream might be crap. So you may also have to download other similar programs like PPmate, TVU and TVants.
As you may already know, one bad thing about streams is that often the audio comes through slightly earlier than the pictures which may not seem like much of a problem, but believe me it is really annoying when watching live sports like football.

From the SBS Sports website:

http://sports.sbsmedianet.co.kr/

Saturday, Aug. 15th:

(Villa:Wigan - Live)

Sunday, Aug. 16th:

(EPL Highlights)

(Everton:Arsenal - Live)

(Blackburn:City - Live)

(Wolves:West Ham - Replay)

(United:Birmingham - Live)

(EPL Highlights)

(Tottenham:Liverpool - Live)

Must admit, I got quite a fright when I couldn't find the games on MBC-ESPN! Doesn't matter to me which channel they're on, as long as they're on. Both MBC-ESPN and SBS Sports are in HD for me.

MBC ESPN has an HD channel but that doesn't mean everything that's on it is in HD. I watched the Premiership last season on MBC ESPN HD and trust me, it wasn't HD.

The games on SBS Sports are supposed to be in HD because it has the symbol next to them, but let's see if they're really HD.

...before I read about sbs-sports showing the games I got my co-worker to call the cable company and so that I could get star-sports in order to watch the games, then an hour later, after reading this I got her to call up again and cancel as the upgrade was 18000won per month and no point in paying that when sbs was free..anyway the cabe lady politley said that I could keep the upgrade for free for the next 12 months then decide after this period if i wanted to keep it lol...got BBC thrown in too...

Help! This Tuesday and Wednesday night there are more Premier League games, but none of them seem to be listed on the SBS Sports website [http://www.sbsmedianet.co.kr]

Any ideas?

I guess you're out of luck on the weekday games.

But the good news is that the games on SBS Sports are in HD!

Yes, the HD is fantastic, but I just can't believe that they wouldn't show the midweek games. Why would they show crappy repeats in the middle of the night instead?

Perhaps its just an error, like the one they made with the Aston Villa v Wigan game on Saturday night (wishfull thinking though, probably).
