I have taught in Korea for a year already.

Now when I went to print my background check from the state, an old charge(that was dismissed as a youthful offender) showed up.

Is there any hope for me to return to korea? |

				| I heard that if it's sex or drug related you won't be allowed to teach here. |

				Depends on the charge.

If it was dismissed, you can try to get it erased. |

I wouldn't worry about it as long as it wasn't a drug or sex offense. I had an MIP (Minor in the possession of alcohol) on my record and had no problem getting a Visa. Also, the title of your post is kind of inaccurate. You have not been denied reentry yet. Anyways, don't worry about it. Korean immigration is not as anal retentive as everyone says. Good luck! |
