Just a quick question. My MA diploma itself only says English, but it is for TESL. The concentration is listed on the transcript. I know this sounds stupid and probably nit-picky, but will that matter? I can't afford to try for another MA just so I can be sure it says TESL on the diploma face. But I also know how appearance matters here. I was really hoping the diploma would say (like my cert from the same university) TESL. |

Most schools require a copy of your transcript so you should be fine. :] |

That, plus most schools don't bother looking at the transcripts, either. Plus, for an E2 visa, I think all they really need is your BA. |

I am getting ready to look for university positions, so I know a MA in TESL makes me a little more attractive. Thank you for all the help! |

Your MA diploma really only says "English" ? Isn't that a little vague for a masters? |

Nobody really cares. TESOL, English, Education... all considered a Masters degree in-field here, so they all look about the same. |
