I just arrived in Seoul last night.

In NYC on my way to the airport, I lost my wallet with all my money and credit + debit card. I had to ask a random dude for $5 to catch the train to the airport. I got to the airport with my flight already boarding and made it only by minutes. 24 full hours later I made to it my new apartment (uncleaned, things in boxes everywhere) with no money, toothpaste or language skills.

This is gonna be a ride!!!

That is awful. Chin up, though. It'll only get easier. Also, if you're with a public school, you should get a one payment to help you settle in. You'll be alright!

Good luck OP!
In years/months to come the stress and inconvenience of your current situation will become a very amusing anecdote - enjoy the ride.
