I tried to sit down to watch the footy on Saturday night but it was just a collection of goals from the last World Cup instead. There have also been no highlights over the weekend.
This is the only reason I have a TV but it seems ESPN are no longer covering the EPL.
Does anybody know which channel is now showing English Premier League?
I have T Broad cable and am wondering if I now need to do an upgrade... |

This, it's not that I don't enjoy watching a show focusing on the reaction of fans at the 2002 World Cup.
I think they're on Channel 602, some channel that asks for a PIN to watch.
I know plenty of streaming websites on the net if anyone needs. |

The rights to Premiership games this season was wrested away by SBS Sports, and most of the games are in HD, something MBC ESPN didn't offer.
I think that you probably get SBS Sports if you get MBC ESPN. |

They usually screen games that have a Korean playing ie they follow the player , not the competition per se.
When ManPoo played Spurs 2006(?) they showed more footage of the crowd watching at Dongdaemun than the game and had advertised it as Park VS Lee. (Both of whom were only there to sell shirts to East Asia)
Who's playing in EPL then? They'll play all of Man U's games...
One station thought Lee Young Pyo was switching to Roma so they bought the Serie A rights. That was good for a bit.
As for streaming, TVU was good for a bit. You have to keep chasing the channels. |

| As much as I hated football being from Canada, I started to like Man Untd just from the number of games I watched to fill in time in rural Korea. Doesn't even look like even Manchester United games wil make it to Korean tv this year. |

| The number of games on cable Korean TV or skylife is just the same as last year, only on SBS Sports instead of MBCESPN |

| What was the ManU vs. Wigan game. 5-0? The Wigan goalkeeper was on pot or something, just staring as the ball went into the net. |

Please don't tell me Korean TV is still winking off on WC 2002.
They were astoundingly blatant cheats. It even got to the stage where a Korean kicks an Italian in the head with the ball 1.5 metres away.
Anyhoo check 0:25 lashing out send-off offense, 0:51 dirty studs up challenge, 1:30 kick to the head of a player on the ground, 1:56 Italian brought down in penalty area actually gets sent off, Koreans around the ref (though he'd been paid off already, 2:10 disallowed Italian goal.

Bah-I can't be bothered going thru the vid anymore. I just know I always now support the other team and never Korea. |

| I guess the Italians got it back with the last second call against the Aussies in the last w.c. |
