I'm trying to figure out the number of vacation days I have left with my contract. I took a vacation in January from the 19-30 and 2 of those days are red according to my calendar.
I think my school may have counted them as 2 vacation days. The 26/27 is part of the Lunar New Year, but I'm not sure if it's traditionally a day that everyone gets off. |

You are probably right. Also, look at your February schedule before you talk with your school. At my school, we didn't start until Feb 4. So, 1-3 could be used also for vacation.
I wouldn't want you to argue to your school about 2 days in January, if you forgot 3 days in February. Then you would be losing 3 days instead of gaining 2 of them LOL |

Thanks for your help!
I'm pretty sure your school calendar is different from mine. I didn't start teaching again until mid-Feb and I was doing school work from home on those inbetween days. |

The Lunar New Year Holiday is 3 days and, in 2009, it was January 25, 26, and 27th- but the 25th was a Sunday. The 26th and 27th were national holidays. |
