If it looks like he doesn't care at all about how he looks, the maybe he doesn't have enough self respect to not look like a homeless whale. If he's always pointing out how stupid it is for guys to bulk up that much, maybe he's just really insecure about how he looks and how frustrated he is that he's never had the will power of discipline to commit himself to a goal like getting fit, that can be really difficult.
So, the key is to find something in the middle. I try to opt for the Men's Health / fitness model look. Not the Muscle and Fitness / roid head. And not the World of Warcraft / I lived with my mom till I was 27 look either. |
Myself, I like to have lean muscle and make my body look aesthetically pleasing and ripped, instead of being huge. My body is naturally thin anyway, so I go for the natural look. I'm more into yoga and bicycling than bodybuilding these days.
But i've seen it all over. Big huge guys with huge muscles get laid left and right. And the other guys always get jealous and hate on these guys, and say "Oh that guy looks ugly. He is all steroids. Se is too big." But these comments are all fueled by jealousy.
Most guys wish they could look like that. But are too lazy, don't have the genetics, or they dont want to take risks with steroids. But deep down they want to look like that.
I'll admit it. I would take that look if I could. But I don't want to take the steroids at this point in my life. And with natural bodybuilding, I just get more of a Calvin Klein body kind of body.
But still those guys look badass in my opinion. |
You need to wise up and realise most of the chemistry for woman is a guy's character.
Women find it funny to see a guy walking around town or a bar looking at himself, posing and trying to catch women's attention with his looks.
Sure, it helps if you're not the Elephant Man of course, but it's your general demeanour and attitude imo that women like.
Don't waste your time 'getting ripped' only to start hitting bars and clubs and find the same problems netting girls and then get all dissapointed.
Being slim is definately a huge help (some people say staying slim is the best thing one can do for their s*x life...), but being 'pumped' and all that crap is not really that important.
Spend more time hangng out socially with women, trying to chat up women you've never met before and get used to interacting with them. And have the balls to 'take' her, and you know, go for the kill  |

| oreovictim... it is a sad occurrence in the USA that has been going on for 5 years or so. Popped collars are popular with tools in their early twenties... usually polo shirt victims. 80's throwback style... blame it on Abercrappy and Bitch... and Amqueerican Eagle clothing. The interior states of the nation where douchebags sport these horrible clothes... I imagine that Itaewon is flowing with these types in the form of off duty soldiers? |

But don't you really think that if you're in the right place, right time and meet someone you liek the look of and she you and you have some thing in common and get on well, that's all it takes...?
I don't think wearing a certain type of shirt really is what it takes.
There has to be a personality inside that shirt...
Moaning about girls liking other guys because of their shirts sounds more like somebody don't know how to work it with women and don't want to admit it.... |

I think women like 3 things in guys.
1. Rich guys
2. Guys with good looks and a good body
3. Guys with a great personality and intelligence
I'm not rich, and i'm sick of running on the hamster wheel trying to get rich, so i'm going for the other 2.
Excercising is a hobby of mine lately and I mostly do it to feel good, and as something I can focus on and work on like a work of art, but i'm not some musclehead douchebag at all.
Yet at the same time, I see that musclehead douchbags have incredible dating success. It's just the truth. I think that guys who deny this are either jealous or just have not seen it yet.
The next time you meet a musclehead freak, ask him if if helps him get laid. It will confirm my point. Better yet, go out with him and hang out, and watch the kind of attention women give him. To many women Muscular men = sex objects.
I could tell you some specific stories about this. Like my bodybuilder friend who has rich, professional older women giving him thousands of dollars every month to be their sex toy. |

That's right. Everyone does not look like crap from 30 onwards, and not everyone is fat and looks like a hag from 30 onwards.
Many people in their 20s look bad, but so many people say you are done at 30 looks wise...Yeah right. I know some pretty people aged 30 and beyond, too. |

1. I'm neither denying it nor jealous. I'm saying you don't have to be a musclehead, I know people just as successful who are skinny as hell.
2. If he were a musclebound freak but not confident, he wouldn't get the same results. It's the confidence in his look / demeanour that help him. I and I'm sure everyone has known a good looking really built guy who is shy and can't get laid.
So the main point is if you're interesting and confident and know how to talk to women, you'll be succesful if you're pumped or not lol. What you're doing is focussing on only one cross section of society and thinking it's the be all and end all of beingg succesfull with women.
Why bother getting pumped if you can't interact succesfuly with girls? I'd rather save the aches, pains and hours in the gym and just go out and start chatting up girls... |

Strange. I got the same thing in reverse the other day from a male Korean friend. I was gushing about a married PE teacher at work and he said, "Does he have a son or a daughter?"
"Yes. One of each."
"Oh. Better forget about him then."
As if the married part just didn't count on its own....... |

I think it also depends on where exactly you are with respect to the west of course. I am from the midwest and I can tell you that dating across the decades only occurs when there is a large sum of cash at stake.
The good women (young looking, hot bodies) are all married by the time they reach 30. If you see a woman who's in her 30's, good looking and single she's divorced and most assuredly has a steady boyfriend who wouldn't give her up for the gold in Fort Knox. For some reason midwestern gals look pretty decent up to the age of 25. Then they slowly begin to go downhill. It usually starts with changing facial features, (sagging eyes and a few wrinkles) then the hips start to widen, after 30 the breasts drop about 6 inches and their thighs could grind fine flour. A friend of mine who lives in Atlanta says there's lots of hot women in their 30's who are single, unattatched, and still look pretty darn hot so go figure. |

Thank you for stating the obvious once again princess. What we are saying is that people who are single and in their 30's generally fall into distinct categories. Back in myneck of the woods the 30ish gals who are good looking are taken , end, done, no chance buster. If they are available then they are generally fat, slobbish, ugly, etc...... hence we aren't interested.

Nope.
Instead of getting jealous (i.e, feeling insecure), I usually go out of my way to avoid "dudes" who feel the need to brag about their sexual conquests to other "dudes" at any given time. |
