if you're in Canada, you can probably find some Terro. IMO, it's the best stuff. I worked at ACE Hardware and at our store (we had a LOT of time on our hands) we tried everything we had in the insecticide aisle; Terro Ant Bait will lure them in, they will take it back home and you'll never see any more. Boric acid is decent, but in my experience it takes a bit of planning/skill to use it well and it can cause a mess if not used properly. Terro, on the other hand, is idiot proof. My room at my parents house was in the basement and it flooded during a storm, bringing in ants. Put the Terro bait down (in 2006) and it's still there and I haven't seen an ant since.

Every summer when the ants start crawling out I stick some of those plastic ant baits everywhere and they're gone within a week or two. The brand I usually buy is called 'COMBAT', you can get it at most pharmacies.

It looks like this:

I recommend you try this brand, the other ant traps you used may not have worked but from my experience I've had no problems with ants since using this one.

Just make sure you get the one with the ant pictures on the box, there are also ones for cockroaches which has a similar packaging.

almost a double post, what's the point of this Rolling Eyes
