I'm looking to purchase a fixie (fixed-gear) bike in Korea and I was wondering if anyone has any information as where to look. I have noticed many Korea riders with them so I know they are around.
Any information (location, sites, etc.) would be great. Also, any fixie riders that read this, I'd love to get in contact with you. Set up some rides, etc.
Cheers

Fixies have no brakes and it takes an exta level of agility and physical fitness to handle them well. My knees are probably too old for a fixie, but gawd I look forward to the bike messenger eye candy when I get home! |

Fixies are lame. 9 out of 10 people who ride them are just lamers, doing it in an attempt to be cool. Even though the bike does not perform very well at all and is designed mainly for doing crazy tricks that they do not even try to do.

Before you buy your fixie. Make sure you have those tight pants made partly from spandex and the thick black glasses that you do not even need for vision correction.
Without those things, you'll just look silly riding a fixie.
Oh yeah, you'll also need to study up on new underground bands, make sure your parents have paid your trust fund money this month, and learn the liberal viewpoint on every single issue so you can re-hash that perspective as if it is your own. |

Also, I believe, one of those mesh trucker's hats in lieu of a helmet is necessary as well as a western style shirt with the sleeves removed. |

I like to change gears when I encounter topographical or airflow variations. I also like coasting. I can't do these things on a "fixie." |
