Does anyone know what the cost is to get some blood tests done in Korea are? I think I may have some vitamin deficiency and want to get it checked out.

For a non-insured basic blood test its around 100,000W

thanks! do you know by any chance do they usually do the blood tests on the same day you ask or do you generally have to make an appointment for another day?

it depends if you need to fast or not for what they're testing. If you haven't eaten breakfast you can always go up to the SNU hospital to the international clinic and see a doc. Wait times are pretty short, usually just the amount of time it takes to grab a doc who speaks english, and you can probably get the test right away. Half the time the nurses will go with you and make you go first ahead of the line. Then you could go home and they'd call you with the result in a few hours.

Oh i see. I'm in Daegu though, not Seoul. I guess you can't eat if you are planning to have it done?
I've just eaten lunch and am goign to the hospital around 2 o clock today. If possible, I want to get it done today but if I have to wait then I guess ill have to wait.

and i'm just planning to get tested if i have an iron or vitamin deficiency. always feeling tired these days...

I don't know if those tests require fasting or not, they can tell you at the hospital.
chances are if it doesn't, they'll just do it right away. If it does, they'll tell you to come back in the morning.
