Thanks everyone for clearing this up. All this time I was thinking some other islanders called Croats in the Virgin Islands had killed other islanders called Serbs.

The big killing was the serbs killing the muslims. Yugoslavia was a cool place in the 90's if ethnic cleansing was your thing.

I'm American but half Polish and half Ukrainian by blood. So far I've been mistaken for Russian many times. Nay, they've insisted I'm Russian because I'm not fat. Add to that Latin, Greek and French (because apparently, I sound like I have a French accent even though most Americans would say I have a slight New York accent). Some also think I look Korean when I smile. Oh well, what do I know? I'm speaking to experts on geneology here! In terms of animals and storybook characters, I look like a Panda because I'm cute and like Heidi if I wear a headband in my hair with puffy sleeves. Don't ask, just accept.

I usually get taken for a european, as I tend to be way overdressed on my trips to civilization ie Itaewon.
