Hi There
I'm going to be living in Gwangju and I was just wanted to know if any one knew of any english speaking, or at least, easier to visit eye doctors and dentists/orthodontists in the area. I haven't left yet but I have contacts for about 6 months and I have wire retainers as well. I'm just wondering if it would be feasible, and cheaper to get contacts (with my prescription) in Korea as I'm not sure I can get my contacts here in time and they'd be more to pack. I was also wondering about the dentist as a just in case thing.

Don't need a prescription here, so I've always brought in my old box for contacts and just get new ones. Price is about the same here as in the US.
As for dentists, I used a couple in Gwangju and they spoke English fairly well. That was awhile back, but should be easy to find one you can communicate with. |
