Did a search and didnt help much.

I want to buy a new notebook computer (10" screen or about that).

The thing is would love XP to be in English. Can I buy one from say Yongsan markets that can provide that?

Or can I buy through ebay or amazon and have them deliver to Korea?

Cheers in advance.

Not a problem, just get the sales guy to re-set it all to english for you. Takes about 10 minutes.

Uh. I'm not sure you can simply 'reset' XP to English. What's the trick for this?

I'm looking for a mini travel notebook for backpacking.

I went to Techno Mart last week, found one that I thought was perfect. Thing weighed like 3 pounds and was the width of my hand. But the sales guy said changing the language was impossible. I'd have to buy another copy of Windows and install it later.

Let me know if you find out anything.

Some people sell English Windows, but beware of piracy...

Korean Windows is NOT equal to English Windows.

It always used to be that if you purchased from an authorized HP dealer, you could ask and get English Windows installed. I know there are two sellers in the Sun-in? building that will do that, as well as at least on in the mall above Youngsan station.
