I was thinking of going there... right now I am hooked on Sao Paulo, a Brazilian steakhouse that offers all you can eat steak (GOOD steak!) and all you can drink beer for 28,000W. I'm just wondering if Brasilia can even compare. Does it have any sort of drink special? I doubt it, but I thought I'd check.

And what about CEIA restaurant? Same sort of thing? Any good beer specials?

Where is that? Sounds yummy.

One thing to be sure of: avoid Ipanema. Some of the worst cuts of meat, horrible sausages and overcooked chicken. I read about it from some (tastebud impotent) posters on here, went there, and left after the first few lousy servings that I only took one bite of.

Are you asking about Sao Paulo?

Ha... I talk about it so much my friends joke that I am secretly working for them. The place is so frigging awesome. Best steak I've had in Korea by far... they walk to your table and bring it to you for two hours. They have several different styles, and after you've tried them all, if you have room, you ask for more of your favorite. Some of the cuts are SO damn good. They also have tasty garlic rice and mashed potatoes for side dishes.

The topper is you pay 3,000W and drink all the beer you want for up to two hours, I believe (maybe two and a half).

The decor and atmosphere is fun yet classy. The people are really nice. The service is great. They hover around your table waiting to refill your glass with cold beer (and in my opinion, though I know it isn't good or high quality on its own, Korean beer goes really well with meat). My girl and I go there so often that they've given us a complimentary bottle of wine on more than one occasion. I can't recommend this place enough. Have the best steak you'll have in Korea, as much as you like, and get drunk (as long as you can find a balance between drinking and eating... I'm getting better with practice) for... I think it's about 30,000W now. Went up a thou or two.

Dammit. Now I want to go there, but I'm trying to be healthy/cheap Monday-Thursday.

It's the Seoul National University Of Education stop, on the green line. Exit 14. Walk straight for a few minutes- you'll see it on your right (second floor), next to an eyeglasses shop and across from a university gate. I would make a reservation if you want to eat there on a weekend evening.

Keep us posted on whether there are any drink specials... all these places look the same, but the all-you-can-drink for 3,000W at Sao Paulo puts it head and shoulders above the rest, at least for me.

There is another all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse in Sinchon. I think it was 25 or 28 per person. It's next to KFC by the Hyundai Dept. Store in Sinchon.
Here is a map. Yeah, go ahead and laugh at my paint skills... Shocked
