Any of you bought the polo shirts from there? Did they fade a lot after the first wash? Wondering if it's just me, just compared a washed one and a non washed polo shirt from there and saw a huge difference Sad

My wife thinks you can exchange it.

If I exchange it and buy another one, it might just fade the same way. That's why I'm trying to see if it's just me or if the brand actually does fade quite a bit.

I've not bought things for me from uniqlo, but have done for my daughter, cos they have some cute stuff... I don't think I've noticed the colours fading?

How have you washed your shirts? In very hot water?

Just on the normal setting. Too much detergent? I'm not sure.

Polos are now gone from uniqlo, so can't get new ones from there :\

Sometimes clothes have not been *bled* before they are sold... meaning that the dye comes out during the first or second wash.

May be that's the case with Uniqlo?

I don't know, but when I go the next time I will take a look if their clothes are colour-fast or not.

I find the detergent and water hard on colours here. things I've bought from Uniqlo have definitely faded after a few washes. Try soaking the garments in a basin of water with a few cups of white vinegar...that sets the dyes, might help for next time.

I'm not the brightest when it comes to washing colors, but I haven't noticed much fading on my shirts from uniqlo.
and it's my favorite place to shop here, I've got a lot of uniqlo clothes.

I wash everything in cold water because it's the only setting I know for sure.

And you can't go wrong with a cold water wash.

I wash it on 표준 setting, I think that's standard. One of my uniqlo polos also had one spot on it where it looks like the detergent made it brighter than the rest of it. I'm not exactly sure.

Also someone recommended that i mix the detergent with water before putting into the loading tray. Anyone actually do this? Doesn't seem necessary.

I am actually always pretty surprised at how well their clothes keep up (women's clothing though). Only place I can buy decent leggings from that don't fall apart. I have lots of bright clothes from there that haven't faded. Maybe just that particular design/shirt?

That's true. Ole' Dangun himself sheds a tear and Dokdo sheds a few precious pebbles whenever a member of 우리 민족 purchases an item at that 왜놈 owned store.

Funny part is, hipsters in the States LOVE their clothes and think that they're like gifts from the hipster gods. I made quite a pretty penny buying Uniqlo in Japan and reselling them to back to my countrymen. They're ALL OVER Japan. I'm pretty sure I came across a mall with 3 of them once.

When I buy new clothes the first time I wash them I run them through the cycle with a cup of salt and that seems to really help them bleed less. Then I'll wash them with regular detergent.
